Welcome to Amazing Kidz!
Our goal is to provide the best care in the best environment as we help you and your child have positive dental experiences at each visit in our office.
Dr. Shults cares for the dental needs of all children ages 0-21 and recommends, along with the Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, check ups every 6 months beginning by age 1. Our team provides a thorough evaluation, cleaning, examination of growth and development, and prevention education to help establish a lifetime of good oral health. To help your child’s first visit at the “kids dentist” go smoothly, we invite you to bring them in ahead of time to get comfortable with our pediatric dentist office. If you have any questions or concerns please give us a call, and we will be happy to help you in any way that we can.
Pediatric Dentistry, like Pediatric Medicine (Pediatrician), is an age defined specialty that provides both primary and comprehensive preventative and therapeutic oral health care for infants and children through the teenage years, especially for those with special health care needs.
A Pediatric dentist is required to complete 2-3 years of additional training following dental school to become a specialist. As a Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Shults has undergone extensive training in areas of patient education, growth and development, facial injuries, restorative, orthodontic, endodontic, preventive care, hospital dentistry, child psychology, and behavior management techniques in order to provide the best available dental care in the best environment for your child.
